The Worker's Cottage

This absolutely charming 1920s weatherboard cottage, which was the original worker’s cottage of the dairy in Leura, has been fully renovated into a character filled 3 bedroom retreat.

Filled with quaint features such as fence paling walls and handmade furniture made from lining boards, you will find original “old time” pieces as well. Timber floors, stained glass windows, a décor enhanced by a colour scheme of soft pastels and bright hues, and a main bedroom with an open fireplace all combine to create an enchanting atmosphere.

Snuggle down to watch a video or snooze to music on the CD player. Bed linen and feather doonas cocoon two king size beds (can be split into single beds) and a double bed, which makes it just perfect for 3 couples, a group of friends or a family. For maximum comfort you will find 2 bathrooms (one of which is ensuite) with claw foot baths, and big fluffy bath sheets, a full kitchen, and a BBQ.

Gas heating, electric blankets, and full insulation will ensure you are nice and warm. Leafy views and a northerly aspect add to the perfect picture. A 10-minute walk will take you to the quaintest village in the mountains where you will enjoy the proliferation of cafes, galleries and shops.
